Solutions

To mitigate its risk, an organization identifies the types of controls that could be employed to reduce its risk to an acceptable level. These solutions may include firewall and intrusion detection products or authentication to limit access to the organization’s IT infrastructure. Encryption and ID authentication can be used to limit access to information assets. Once an organization has decided to implement a security solution, it should evaluate existing products in the context of its own security architecture to determine the best options.
